Construction Products Regulation – Requirements for Floorcoverings
Wednesday 26th April 2017
YOU ARE VIEWING AN EVENT THAT HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE
The seminar aims to provide information about European legislation on construction products for floorcoverings.
On 1st July 2013 the new Construction Products Regulation (CPR) replaced the Construction Products Directive (CPD), and most floorcovering products for the European market need to be CE-marked.
SATRA is a European Notified Body, and in an excellent position to assist producers, importers and distributors of these products to understand their obligations under the regulation.
This event concentrates on the systems and requirements for floorcovering products specifically; what testing is required, what is optional and what details need to be documented.
10:15 Introduction to SATRA
10:30 Overview of the Construction Products Regulation
11:15 Attestation routes and the role of the Notified Body
13:15 Testing to the harmonised standards
Who should attend?
This seminar will benefit anyone who manufactures, imports, distributes or retails floorcovering products and/or specifies requirements for buildings within Europe.
This seminar is free of charge for both Members and non-Members alike. However, SATRA does reserve the right to invoice a nominal fee for any delegates who book and do not attend without giving 21 days’ notice.
