SATRA is exhibiting at the 9th IRGCE organised by MARGMA to showcase its physical and chemical glove testing capabilities and its test equipment machinery on stand W57 from the 4th to 6th September. This will be the 8th exhibition that SATRA has attended and is the first time the show has run for a third day. This will be the largest IRGCE-MARGMA exhibition to date.

Martin Heels, Head of Chemistry at SATRA will be attending with Emma Norris to provide information on testing glove materials for food contact suitability, degradation testing and determining whether gloves provide permeation resistance against hazardous chemicals – including chemotherapy drugs.

Martin will be presenting a seminar at the conference which is running alongside the exhibition and his session is entitled “The PPE Regulation and Key Changes to European Glove Testing Standards.”

In addition, Mike Cooper and Tara Holly will be on the stand to talk to delegates about the new PPE Regulation and what is required to CE-mark protective gloves on the European Market. Some of SATRA’s test equipment for glove testing will also be on the stand to demonstrate a few physical glove tests.

A number of technical articles and promotional materials will be available written by the SATRA team on subjects including permeation testing, EN 388, the draft standard EN ISO 21420 (which will replace EN 420:2003 + A01:2009) and EU-Type Certification.

Please email the SATRA team on chemistry@satra.com to arrange a meeting at the show.
