Comfort in general is a large and very important subject in footwear. After how it looks, how comfortable your footwear is will have a huge impact on how well it sells. Here we will focus on comfort underneath the foot. The importance of cushioning, shock absorption and energy return. SATRA has been looking more closely at the areas under the foot where pressures are great and how this may affect some design choices.
