In order to CE mark and sell category II or category III gloves, manufacturers will require test reports to show that testing has been carried out in accordance with European testing standards. The key glove performance standards to assess protection are EN 388 (mechanical risks), EN 407 (thermal risks) & EN 511 (protection against cold) and EN ISO 374-1 which sets performance requirements for chemical and microbiological protection. These standards will be explained during this seminar with the aid of some practical demonstrations.

Sessions will also be presented on the PPE Regulation, food contact suitability, chemical permeation and degradation and the general performance requirements for protective gloves,    EN 420.

There will be opportunities for questions throughout the day and time for individual consultations at the end of the day.

A buffet lunch is included, along with an optional tour of SATRA’s testing facilities after lunch.
