Hi-Visibility PPE Seminar in Shanghai
Thursday 14th March 2019
YOU ARE VIEWING AN EVENT THAT HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE
Simon Courtney from SATRA will be delivering a seminar on Hi-Visibility clothing at the Crowne Plaza Shanghai, Noah Square on Thursday 14th March starting at 10am.
In order to CE mark and sell high-visibility PPE, manufacturers will require reports to show that testing has been carried out on the background material, retroreflective tape and the completed garment in accordance with European testing standards. All high-visibility is likely to become soiled during normal use and will require cleaning and manufacturers need to demonstrate that the protective properties of the garments are maintained even after damaging laundering processes.
Sessions will be presented on the PPE regulation and the key European testing standards including EN ISO 20471 and EN 1150:1999. These standards will be explained during the seminar with the aid of video footage of the testing and assessments in progress. Sessions will also be presented on how to undertake cost-effective testing programmes. There will be opportunities for questions throughout the presentations and time for individual consultations following the lunch.
The event is free of charge and a buffet lunch is included. The seminar will be translated into Chinese.
