Reducing safety footwear failures

There are a number of important areas which shoemakers should consider when developing safety footwear.

The level of protection provided by safety footwear must be both effective and consistent. This can only be achieved if the product is carefully designed and manufactured. Money and time invested in testing and certification can be saved by making a thorough consideration of both the design and materials to be used during the product’s development. In addition, footwear that has been well engineered will help to reduce the number of problems identified during compliance testing – or even avoid such difficulties totally.
