Meet SATRA at the shows
An opportunity to discuss key development and manufacturing issues.
SATRA will be exhibiting at a number of major trade exhibitions during 2019, and members of the team will be available to welcome visitors to the SATRA stands where they can discuss product testing and relevant production issues.
APLF in Hong Kong
One of these events is the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF), which will be held in Hong Kong on March 13th to 15th. Billed as ‘the world’s leading leather trade show’, APLF showcases a vast range of leather and components. According to the exhibition organisers, APLF is positioned for the downstream sourcing of leathers related to the manufacturing industries of leathergoods and mid- to high-quality footwear.
The event also features a separate sector, called ‘APLF Materials+’, which is designed to cater to the rising demand for innovative materials and components. APLF is said to offer ‘one-stop sourcing’ while covering the leather supply chain from raw, crust to finished leathers, chemicals, dyes, tanning machinery, design and support services. SATRA experts will be presenting information on a number of services, including how assistance can be provided with sustainability in footwear production.
On to Jakarta
On April 4th to 6th, SATRA will also have a stand at the Indoleather & Footwear Show (ILF) in Jakarta, Indonesia. This fair gives companies the opportunity to showcase a wide variety of products and services aimed at the leather and footwear industries. These include semi-finished and finished leathers, hides and skins, exotic leathers, synthetic materials, equipment and tools, components and accessories, footwear machinery, tanning machinery, process chemicals and dyes, technology, finished footwear, leather garments, leathergoods and leather furniture.
In addition to answering visitors’ questions about SATRA’s services, team members will be demonstrating the SATRA VisionStitch stitching improvement package, which has been designed to improve productivity and quality.
