Using cork in footwear

Cork is a renewable, environmentally friendly and very versatile resource with many uses in everyday footwear, as this article explains.

Cork is a natural material obtained from the bark of the cork oak tree; the cork bark being stripped from the tree every nine or ten years without killing or harming it. Every tree is, therefore, a renewable source of the raw material.
