SATRA appoints new CEO
We are pleased to introduce Guy Asch – SATRA’s new chief executive.

Guy here describes his operational experience and his plans to strengthen even further the organisation’s standing as an industry leader.
"I am delighted to be joining SATRA as chief executive officer. SATRA is an organisation with a long history and an equally long-standing reputation for technical excellence, deep industry knowledge and a proud heritage in research and innovation.
"I bring two decades of experience within the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) industry, having successfully led commercial and operational teams across global markets. My focus is on delivering strategic leadership for SATRA, based on collaboration, accountability and customer-centric innovation, and I am confident that this will further strengthen SATRA’s leadership position in the industry. I would like to thank the members of the Board for their trust and support. It is a privilege to take on this role and to lead an organisation with such history and credibility."
Leading a diligent team
"Everyone working at SATRA has provided me with a truly warm welcome, and I have been immensely impressed with the expertise, drive and passion that is evident throughout this organisation – in each of our sites, as well as in every role and in every department.
"This is an exciting time for SATRA. The business is in great shape, and I am honoured to be given the opportunity to realise the possibilities for growth and innovation. I am looking forward to spending time with our valued members and clients, while helping to continue SATRA’s mission of delivering true value for our partners.
"With such solid foundations in place, SATRA will continue its position as a true industry leader, providing thought leadership, expert advice and guidance to our current and future members. I personally feel honoured and privileged to lead this organisation in this next stage."
A message to our members
SATRA’s membership is a truly unique model within the industry, and one of my key goals is to ensure that we continue to provide unrivalled value to members for their commitment to partnering with our organisation.
I will be meeting with many members at our sites and at industry events to discuss ways that we can further enhance our collaboration, and to ensure that we continue to add real value to their businesses. I am keen to expand on the innovation and research projects that we carry out while sharing how we can support our members’ own product innovation.
