After the success of two sustainability events held in recent years, SATRA has announced a new ‘Sustainable Futures’ programme to take place on 19th November 2025. This event, while still having environmental sustainability as a core focus will also consider other key challenges that cannot be ignored.

The world around us is changing rapidly, and organisations must face up to not only the impacts of climate change, but also the rapid development and implementation of artificial intelligence, as well as shifts in geopolitics. In these sessions, speakers from footwear organisations, academia and the technology sector will discuss such challenges and how organisations will need to adapt in order to survive and, indeed, thrive. Topics planned for the day include what the products and workforces of the future might look like, how organisations can authentically communicate with consumers, as well as the ever-changing legislative landscape and the vital role that data will play.

Further details on speakers for this unique event taking place in London will be revealed shortly, with a discount on ticket prices available to SATRA members.
