Positive reports from Columbia and Brooks

Both companies logged increases in sales.

Outdoor footwear and apparel group Columbia Sportswear has reported revenues of just over USD 2.3 billion for the period of January to September 2025. This represents a 2 per cent increase when compared to the same period in the previous year. Although sales dropped by 2 per cent in the US market to just over USD 1.3 billion, growth was seen in other markets. For example, revenue from Asia and Latin America, which are reported together, totalled USD 411 million in the first nine months of this year, which was a year-on-year increase of 9 per cent. Sales in Europe grew by 15 per cent to USD 395.8 million.

Meanwhile, Brooks Running posted a growth of 17 per cent for third quarter sales. This was the company’s ninth consecutive quarter of growth, with all channels and regions reportedly delivering double-digit increases. The sale of adult performance running footwear rose 13 per cent in the USA. International sales are said to have recorded significant growth, with year-to-date boosts of 82 per cent in Asia Pacific and Latin America and 23 per cent in the EMEA region.
