International stars join On’s football push

Swiss sportswear brand On has entered the football market, appointing French star Kylian Mbappé as a global ambassador and collaborator on future football footwear and apparel. The Swiss company says it will apply its expertise and LightSpray manufacturing technology to develop lightweight, close-fitting products for the sport.

Former France striker Thierry Henry has been named director of football, overseeing strategy, athlete relations and product development. FC Barcelona and Switzerland player Sydney Schertenleib will support product development, particularly for the women’s game.
