SATRA Technical Seminars: REACH update

SATRA experts John Hubbard and Charlotte Fowle will join Steve Rose at the SATRA offices and laboratory in Dongguan to deliver a series of technical seminars across four days. The seminars are aimed primarily at footwear technologists and will appeal to those new to the industry and also more experienced personnel wishing to gain an update on the latest thinking in a particular area.

In 2018, the REACH Regulation sees the final registration milestone for chemicals. This is the end of the first phase of the journey, but with nearly 30,000 chemical substances to be evaluated, there is considerably more change expected in this area of legislation. This seminar will review the current status of the project and its impact on the footwear supply chain, as well as offer advice about ensuring the industry is prepared for the next steps.

This is a half-day seminar, taking place in the morning.
