SATRA Technical Seminars: Laboratory development and management

SATRA experts John Hubbard and Charlotte Fowle will join Steve Rose at the SATRA offices and laboratory in Dongguan to deliver a series of technical seminars across four days. The seminars are aimed primarily at footwear technologists and will appeal to those new to the industry and also more experienced personnel wishing to gain an update on the latest thinking in a particular area.

Having an in-house laboratory to carry out safety and quality testing on incoming materials and final products will not only reduce problems in manufacture but also help ensure consistent and acceptable quality in your dispatched products. In-house testing facilities save time and money, and will both help to keep existing customers and attract new ones. This session will review how to set up a laboratory and ensure that it operates accurately and effectively.

This is a half-day seminar, taking place in the morning.
