Environmental Awareness Workshop

SATRA has been asked to be part of a European consortium developing vocational education and training modules specifically tailored for the footwear and textile sectors.

In order to establish the way forward for this project we are inviting member companies to participate in an interactive environmental workshop to identify where current environmental thinking is positioned throughout the industry, as well as signposting the potential direction the industry might take to confront the challenges that it will face in the future.

Environmental issues affect the entire supply chain and involve emissions to air, consumption and contamination of water, waste, energy consumption, land use and material availability. Solutions are not always easy and can result in complicated interactions and tradeoffs
between outcomes.

The workshop is open to delegates from any level of the organisation
with an interest in environmental issues.
