China technical seminar programme: The new PPE regulation and testing of safety footwear for the European market 

SATRA’s next series of technical seminars will be held in Dongguan, China for footwear companies from the 27th November. The seminars are free to SATRA members. 

The new PPE regulation and testing of safety footwear for the European market - Safety footwear sold in Europe is classified as personal protective equipment (PPE) and requires mandatory testing to ensure that it meets all specified protective properties for the industry for which it is designated. The tests required for CE-certified footwear will be explained, together with how the introduction of the new PPE Regulation affects manufacturers and suppliers. 

This seminar is also open to Non-members at a cost of RMB 150, payable on the door. 

Time - 9.30am - 4.30pm 

This seminar is part of a special week of seminars at SATRA's offices in Donnguan. 

Each of the sessions in this new seminar programme will be led by SATRA experts Pete Doughty, Mike George, John Reed and Steve Rose, and will cover important issues affecting producers and distributors. Some of the presentations will be reserved exclusively for SATRA members, with other sessions open also to non-members. Each talk will be in English with a Chinese translation made by one of SATRA’s China office team.
