Ecotextyle Online Learning Platform - UK Multiplier Event

SATRA has been participating in an Erasmus+ Programme funded by the European Union to develop an online learning resource for the footwear and apparel industries.

Ecotextyle is a 24-month scheme funded under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission. This initiative has designed programmes to provide training and education on product environmental footprints (PEF) as they apply to the footwear industry. Its objective is to establish the appropriate training within small- or medium-sized enterprises or training centres.

Six promotional multiplier events in different countries will give visibility to the project materials and spread its results among different stakeholders within the footwear, textile and education sectors.

The final online learning tool will be available for users in the UK to use as an introduction to the key issues affecting sustainability in the global supply chain.

This half day workshop has been arranged to launch the platform in the UK and for everyone in the supply chain to see the opportunities and to understand how this has been developed and how it can be used to develop staff and students. 

The event is free to attend but booking is required. Lunch is provided.
