Tuesday 6th October 2020
Compliance officers may request information about the chemical substances present in your products, so it is crucial to understand your legal responsibilities.
On 6th October, SATRA’s REACH seminar will provide a clear understanding of what is applicable for consumer goods. Mark Gardiner, a former Senior Trading Standards Officer now working for Market Surveillance Specialists, will present a session on market surveillance to complement sessions that will explain SVHC obligations, Annex XVII, manufacturing restricted substances lists (MRSLs), RSLs, entry 72 (which restricts 33 substances and comes into force from November 2020) and demonstrating compliance with REACH. More information may also be available to discuss regarding the UK’s version of REACH legislation after the UK exists the European Union.
To ensure all in attendance have the opportunity to raise relevant issues, there will be plenty of time for questions throughout the day and the number of delegates is limited to 15.
For detailed specific queries, questions can be submitted in advance of the seminar so a full response can be discussed on the day. Please contact us to reserve your place.
