The initial design of a shoe style is an excellent opportunity to consider how the finished product could affect the wearer. At this stage, the designer has to balance the aesthetics and appearance of the shoe with the position of seams, flexing characteristics etc. on the foot. This webinar session by SATRA's footwear expert Phil Shaw will review the options available to the designer and consider how possible conflicts can be avoided.
