In order to claim gloves provide protection against mechanical risks, they must be assessed in accordance with EN 388. This involves various physical testing methods such as abrasion, tear, cut, puncture and impact and the performance of the glove is assigned classifications depending on the laboratory testing results. This webinar will explain the test methods and performance levels included in EN 388 and will be delivered by SATRA’s consumer products divisional manager, Simon Courtney who represents SATRA and BSI at the European protective gloves committee, CEN/TC 162 WG 8.
Simon Courtney and a member of SATRA’s certification team will be the panellists for your questions after this presentation.
