SATRA has recently completed a 10 year review of this important performance and safety-critical test method for the friction (slip resistance) of footwear and floorings. A revised method document dated March 2021 has now been published.

Mike George from SATRA’s Footwear Testing team, and David Billington from SATRA’s Test Equipment department, explain and answer questions about the enhancements made to the method, the equipment and the associated drive software.
