The fire safety of non-domestic buildings is governed by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This requires all buildings to have a responsible person who ensures there is an up-to-date fire risk assessment. This risk assessment covers many areas, but includes the contents of the building.
SATRA’s experts, Phil Reynolds and Tom Notley will explain how these regulations affect furniture, how standards can help you specify appropriate fire safety levels for furniture and how manufacturers and importers of commercial furniture can meet these requirements.
