Domestic Furniture Technical Forum
Wednesday 7th July 2021
10:00 - 13:00 BST
Attendee numbers restricted
The standards and regulatory requirements for domestic furniture are undergoing considerable developments. There are changes planned for the UK’s Furniture & Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations. Now the UK has left the EU, there are changes to the fire safety requirements for upholstered furniture being exported to the Irish Republic.
There is considerable activity in the standards arena, with new and revised standards being developed for beds, bunk beds, tables, seating and TV furniture, children’s furniture and motorised furniture to name just a few.
In this session SATRA’s Phil Reynolds will outline the proposed changes and how they will affect manufacturers, importers and retailers of domestic furniture, and also be available to answer your questions.
Due to demand places are limited to two delegates per company for SATRA members and one delegate for non-members.
