SATRA’s Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectrometer (FTIR) is a versatile instrument that amongst other things can identify polymeric materials, determine whether silicone is a factor in adhesive failures and identify some blooms that may appear on the surface of vulcanised rubber.

During this webinar, Jade Hurley will explain about the technique and how SATRA uses FTIR to troubleshoot adhesive bonding and discolouration problems.
