SATRA’s “Within REACH” newsletter contains information on the latest changes to REACH legislation which might affect the footwear industry. This is a free publication for SATRA members and we aim to publish two editions each year.

In this webinar, SATRA’s chemistry experts will give further details about the subjects discussed in the articles in the Spring/Summer 2022 edition.

Recent additions and potential future entries to the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) for both REACH and UK REACH will be discussed along with an update on the substances of concern in products and articles (SCIP) database. Information about the updated test method for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in rubber and plastics and the perfluorocarboxylic acid (PFCA) restrictions in REACH Annex XVII Entry 68 will also form part of the webinar.
