Traditional shoemaking has used stitching to assemble the upper and, in some cases, attach the sole. Although stitching provides many benefits to the shoemaking process, there are a number of disadvantages in terms of performance and comfort.

Using different technologies, it is possible to make a shoe without stitching.

We will explore alternative methods of assembly which remove the need for stitching, highlighting their uses and benefits.
