SAFT Vietnam Summer 2024

Following last year‘s successful delivery of 2 modules of the SAFT course together with the bolt-on Laboratory Management module in Ho Chí Minh City, SATRA will be delivering these essential training seminars again this year.

SATRA UK staff will deliver the popular Module 2 which covers Footwear Materials and Module 3 which covers Testing. Each module is 2 days in length and can be treated as stand-alone training or could be added to at a later date to achieve full SAFT accreditation. In addition to these existing modules, SATRA will also be delivering a bolt-on module for laboratory managers. This 1-day module, which was new for 2023, is being delivered in Vietnam for the second time.

The SAFT (SATRA Accredited Footwear Technologist) award is an internationally
recognised qualification, and is clear evidence that you are a footwear technologist with
a proven range of knowledge. The full course comprises seven key areas of footwear
manufacture and each module is an intensive training led by a SATRA specialist and
includes comprehensive documentation and up-to-date information.
Successful modern manufacturing processes rely on accurate practical information and
the ability of staff to understand and apply such information. In a global and competitive
marketplace, knowledge and skills are increasingly important. SATRA has designed this
member-only training course for all technologists involved in any aspect of footwear
production.
Once the course is complete, SATRA will notify you of the next opportunity to take
optional written examinations. You must obtain a pass in five of the seven modules if you
wish to receive a SAFT accreditation. The core modules: Module 1: Lasts: fitting and
comfort, Module 2: Materials, Module 4: Constructions and product design must be
completed with an additional 2 modules chosen to meet the individual delegates
requirements.

Quan 1, Thành pho Ho Chí Minh, Vietnam.
