In this webinar, SATRA’s chemical testing team give an insight into the regulations surrounding the presence of restricted aromatic amines in consumer products – legislation which can be complex and difficult to understand.

Azo compounds are widely used in the footwear, garment and PPE industries to dye natural textiles, synthetic textiles and leather. Some azo compounds can undergo chemical reactions to form amines that are restricted and are regularly included in restricted substances lists.

SATRA can test for the presence of these restricted substances which should be part of routine substances testing. This webinar explains more about the azo colourant testing services we provide.
