New European requirements for permanent fall protection anchors

The legislative requirements for placing permanently installed anchor devices on the European market have remained uncertain for more than a decade. With the publication of EN 17235:2024 and its harmonisation under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), manufacturers now have clear obligations to test, assess and certify anchor kits before placing them on the market.
