Join us to discuss the challenge of durability versus performance in modern sports footwear. As brands strive to create lighter and faster shoes, consumers increasingly expect that products will not only deliver performance benefits but will also last a long time. In this member-only webinar, SATRA footwear technologist Niamh Bailey will explore the industry's pursuit of lighter, faster footwear and the challenges this creates for long-term durability. We will discuss the trade-offs involved in lightweight footwear design and examine growing concerns around outsole wear, cushioning retention and overall product longevity.
This session will be hosted by Scott Jarvis, SATRA's technical lead for testing outsoles, underfoot comfort and whole shoe performance.
