Footwear troubleshooting

This event will focus on typical chemistry-related footwear problems such as discolouration, mould, adhesion failure and odours, and give an insight into prevention methods. Other sessions will provide an overview of how the REACH legislation applies to footwear.

Aimed at footwear technologists involved in the supply, manufacture or distribution of footwear or retailers who sell footwear, this event is an opportunity for members to interact with SATRA staff to gain an overview of how our chemical testing facilities can help with troubleshooting footwear problems.

The half-day event is divided into short presentations from a number of different speakers. There will be opportunities for questions throughout the morning and during the complimentary buffet lunch. After lunch, SATRA experts will be available for consultation on specific technical problems.
