Footwear: an introduction to chemical testing
Tuesday 18th October 2016
YOU ARE VIEWING AN EVENT THAT HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE
This event is available to SATRA members only
This seminar is an introduction to the chemical testing that can be performed on footwear. Routine analysis for restricted substances and the basic REACH requirements will be discussed, along with some of the more complex troubleshooting issues such as discolouration, mould and odours and some prevention methods.
The aim of this event is to provide Footwear Technologists involved in the supply, manufacture, distribution or retail sectors with a basic understanding of chemical testing requirements and to introduce SATRA’s testing capabilities.
There will be time to interact directly with the staff here at SATRA for individual questions if required. This half day seminar will commence at 10am and includes a buffet lunch.
