Ecotextyle project sees progress

Training portal for environmental management

27th September 2018

Representatives of all partner organisations contributing to the Ecotextyle project will meet in October in Krakow, Poland, to allow respective experts to supervise and finish the design of the online training platform that has been created in the first year of the project. John Hubbard and Zach Armitage are the experts from SATRA who will be attending.

The platform is intended to help professionals, companies and students working in the footwear and textile sectors to improve their knowledge and competence in sustainable production, for example product life cycle analysis, ecodesign, ecolabeling, and product environmental footprints (PEF).

The Ecotextyle project is an initiative aimed at stimulating debate, exchanging good practices and developing an online training portal for people involved in environmental management and sustainability in the footwear and textile industries. It is co-funded under the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission.
