If you feel active this weekend but don’t want to go too mad how about trying out a mini marathon. SATRA is headline sponsor of the SATRA Northampton Size 6 race on Sunday 29th September.

The SATRA Northampton Size 6 is a 6.9 mile route starting in Northampton town centre before heading off to the surrounding countryside and finishing at Delapre Abbey. Race director, Simon Hollis, said the Size 6 is an exciting addition to the Northampton Half Marathon event and is aimed at celebrating the town's shoemaking heritage.

SATRA has been working with shoemakers in Northamptonshire and around the world for 100 years and now has successful operations in Europe and China including Kettering where there are regular employment opportunities as the company continues to grows.
