SATRA’s Michael Bodsworth to speak at SIMAC’s Assomac Talks

Michael will discuss Sustainability and Measuring as part of a round table discussion.

SATRA’s Executive Director Michael Bodsworth will be participating as a guest speaker in the Sustainability & Measuring Round Table as part of the Assomac Talks at Simac Tanning Tech 2021 this week.

The panel will focus on methods of measuring sustainability and how technology can assist us in this task. Due to technological advances, and growing consumer sensitivity to the issue, sustainability is a growing concern for those in the leather and footwear industries.

What is considered to be sustainable continues to change, requiring a more rigorous and standardised measurement system that recognises sustainability, not as an end point, but an ongoing process.
